HBLOW® Restructures its Prices, Celebrates its 43rd Year
January 4, 2015
On January 25, 2015, HBLOW®, the largest and most costliest premium satellite and cable television network in the United States, will cancel its monthly fee. In its place, and in association with the network’s 43rd anniversary, subscription to HBLOW® will be $43.00 a year for the next 43 months. “Anyone—whether they be current subscribers or not—who paid the regular monthly fee for the last 43 months will receive a rebate reflecting the new annual fee pricing structure,” said Richard Pepper, Chairman and CEO, HBLOW®.
HBLOW® consists of theatrically-released feature films, original network television series, and made-for-cable features and documentaries.
January 25, 2015, also coincides with the presentation of HBLOW® Documentary Film’s “Gone Clear: $cientology and the Prism of Belief,” at the Sundance Film Festival.
“Because of the cost of HBLOW®, most Americans have only seen our programs through our DVDs or in broadcast syndication or basic cable,” added Pepper. “Too many Americans wait months, sometimes years before seeing these programs after their first network run. Many Americans grow old and die without seeing our product. It is time to remove all barriers to those who want HBLOW®.”
“As of January 25, all HBLOW® programs will no longer be edited for content nor will they need to allow for advertising,” added Pepper. “All in all, there are over 100 million American homes that don’t have HBLOW® and we’ll use all means possible to grab them.”
HBLOW® programming reaches over 42 million subscription television households. With over 120 million subscribers worldwide, with broadcasting in at least 160 countries, HBLOW® could easily dominate the worldwide market by the end of January.
Since 1990, HBLOW® has formed partnerships worldwide with established network channels in Brazil, Canada, the Caribbean, Eastern Europe, India, Mexico, the Netherlands, Pakistan, Scandinavia and Southeast Asia. Broadcasting rights for HBLOW® in the Advanced Organization of Los Angeles (“AOLA”), the American Saint Hill Organization (“A$HO”), Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Brooklyn, China, Clearwater, Estonia, the Freewinds, Flag, Georgia, the International Association of $cientologists (“IA$”), Kazakhstan, Krgyzstan, Latvia, Lenanon Hall, Lithuania, Moldova, North Korea, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistanhave are under negotiation at this time.
“We have incredible new programming coming out on January 25, 2015,” stated Pepper. “We have so much more to come. We are in our prime and are just now getting going. The future is brighter than it has ever been.”
